Die Fischerin

Welcome to the "Fischerin", the new restaurant at Strombad Kritzendorf!"

"(...) Architect Heinz Holzmann (head of "Kaffeefabrik" in the 6th district) and David Zoglitz (head of the Thai restaurant "Es gibt Reis" in the 8th district). This week, they reopened "Die Fischerin" in Strombad Kritzendorf just outside Vienna. They used to serve schnitzel, but now they are serving Laotian beef tartare, called Lab Sien (12.50 euros), or grilled pork neck with kohlrabi salad (7 euros) for the first time. Some of the buildings in the 1930s-style spa were designed by Adolf Loos. So it's no wonder that restaurateur and architect Holzmann (like Loos himself) wants to bring something sophisticated to a somewhat neglected area.
