Protestant parish church of Klosterneuburg

The Protestant church in Klosterneuburg, built in 1995, is a particularly successful example of modern church architecture. The oval floor plan emphasizes the community-building function of the church interior. An essential design element is the light, which incorporates the outside into the church service, so to speak, and thus makes visitors aware that they are part of creation in its infinite diversity and change. The Protestant church in Klosterneuburg is the work of Heinz Tesar, the altarpiece was created by Hubert Scheibl.
